Research on the FM control for hydraulic wind turbine based on virtual inertia compensation control method

Wind has been admitted as one of the most promising renewable energy resources in multinational regionalization policies. However, intermittent wind volatility and weak coupling between traditional generators power grid all influence electrical frequency stability. The hydrostatic transmission turbine (HWT) is taken research object, hydraulic storage system (HESS) introduced into HWT to improve regulation capability. First, mathematical models rotor, main system, excitation synchronous generator are established. Then, modulation characteristics analyzed under different amplitude load fluctuation. In view limited capability, control strategy based on virtual inertia compensation proposed with HESS. Under condition maximum point tracking, effectiveness verified. simulation experimental results show that a good effect, HESS dynamic response characteristic satisfies power–frequency regulation. will be helpful make become grid-friendly solve problem low
